Penn Street Gallery is delighted to present to the public a retrospective exhibition of Rosina Flower throughout the month of June..

We are honoured to have been entrusted with over forty pieces of work both framed and unframed. Working with Rosina’s daughter, Laura, the team have chosen a variety of subjects including florals, landscapes and still lifes. We hope to give you an insight into the prolific work alongside an opportunity to see Rosina’s personal archives of previous exhibitions.

Celebrating local talent is a huge part of what we embody here at the gallery so when this opportunity came up we knew it would be a great fit. Having spoken to visitors and friends, it is clear how much Rosina has impacted the local artistic community and everyone she came into contact with. Having exhibited for over fifty years far and wide, Bucks Art Weeks was always a highlight of the year. Hence why it is the perfect time to coincide our exhibition with this year’s Bucks Art Weeks.

Previous exhibitions have included; The Royal Society of British Artists, The Paris Salon, Cork Street Open Exhibition, DFN Gallery in New York, Buckinghamshire County Museum, The Royal Institute of Oil Painters and many more.

We see this as a wonderful opportunity to invest in such a celebrated talent and we hope that this exclusive first look will give you a chance to buy your first work or add to your collection.

We’d also like to add to the lovely archives of previous exhibitions with our own, so if you have any memories or thoughts of Rosina we’d love to hear them, please email or you can also write them at the exhibition in a dedicated book.

Follow along the journey on our instagram @pennstgallery where we will be sharing behind the scenes setting up of the exhibition, launch day and more images of Rosina.

Please note that the gallery is only accessible by stairs.
