Stephen's Interview

Hailing from West Africa, Anne’s paintings are full of vibrancy and colour, something she attributes to her Ghanaian upbringing. In terms of subject matter of the pieces we hold, Anne is predominately drawn to figurative art. She loves to observe the narrative of people as they go about their daily lives and their surroundings.

Anne studied Fine Art at the College of Art, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana and came to live in the UK in 1984,

She is a multi-award winning artist and a full member of the Society of Women Artists.

She has been exhibiting her work on a regular basis since 2007. Her paintings have been exhibited at the prestigious Mall Galleries in London, in annual exhibitions by the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA), and the Society of Women Artists (SWA). She’s also had her work exhibited in various other shows.
