Penn Street Gallery established by renowned artist Paul Bell, is a destination gallery just outside Amersham. Currently, we are featuring the works of Paul Bell and Stephen Charlton (painting and sculpture).

 

The gallery has been designed to help you view the art in a familiar environment to your own home, setting itself apart from other spaces. Another unique element is an artist studio at the rear where you can get a great insight into the creative process. It also provides a chance for you to see some of the artworks not currently on display.

 

To add to your experience, Penn Street also has the benefit of having the choice of two great country pubs - The Hit or Miss and The Squirrel, where you can go for lunch before or after your visit. Along with beautiful woodland walks directly from the gallery in the surrounding area of Penn Street and Penn Wood. Additionally neighbouring the gallery, the renowned Griffiths Brothers distillery provide tours and their selection of award winning gins and spirits to sample and purchase. As a gallery we are also incredibly lucky to have the market-leading Bespoke Framing next door who can advise and frame any piece of work, a lot of examples can be seen on the walls of our gallery. We are proud to be part of such a creative community of businesses here at Penn Street Works. 

 

Open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10.30am to 5pm and Sunday by appointment, the gallery also offers private views at times that suit you.
